Electrical, Information and Media Engineering

Welcome! This is the homepage of Faculty E of the University of Wuppertal which comprises the classical field of Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering as well as Print and Media Technologies. These disciplines were among the initial elments when this University was founded. Their roots  go back into the 19th century.

Nowadays - as in former times - the degree courses and programmes offered by the faculty are decisively influenced by the demand for qualified engineers of industrial companies in the region of Wuppertal, Remscheid and Solingen. Vice versa international and national co-operations as well as the current interdisciplinary areas of research as Automotive Engineering, Polymer Technology, Print- and Media Technologies and Distributed/Renewable Energy Systems contribute to the further development of the region.
